Who we are

This website is run by Yvonne Gunn, trading as Exe Green & Ground. We are the controller of the personal information you send us through this website. If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email exegreenground@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, phone number and email address, plus anything else you choose to tell us: your town or postcode, the service you need, and details of the job. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that contact too.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and give you a quote. If you go ahead, we use them to carry out and invoice the work. We don't send marketing messages and we never sell your information.

Our lawful basis is that you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract with us, and, once you've booked work, to carry out that contract.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the service providers that help us run this website and handle enquiries:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes the enquiry form
• Resend, which delivers form enquiries to our email inbox
• Google, which provides our email inbox and, if you accept cookies, our advertising measurement

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

Cookies

With your permission, we use Google Ads cookies to see which of our adverts lead to enquiries. When you send an enquiry after accepting cookies, Google may receive a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number to match it to an advert you clicked. These cookies are only set if you choose "Accept" on our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of each page.

How long we keep it

If you don't go ahead with any work, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep your details and job records for 6 years after the job, as required for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email exegreenground@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
